Ensure oil is clear, not extremely dirty or foamy <br />Pum plMotor Coupler - Visually inspect the coupler for signs of damage. Look for'shavings" that would indicate <br />in shaft. <br />impending failure. Ensure safeguard is in place to prevent entanglement rotating <br />required and clearly marked as to what <br />Off/On Switches -Ensure each switch is in th e correct position, locked if rL <br />it operates. <br />V <br />4 <br />Valve Position - Ensure valves are in the correct position, locked and/or sealed as required and clearly marked <br />with a tag with its P&ID # or its purpose. <br />Containment Area - Ensure area is clear of leaves and debris; inspect for signs of damage <br />Line Shock./Pipe Vibration - Watch and listen for vibration, which could be a sign ofincomactly sized piping, <br />pumps, pressure relief valves, etc. <br />Pressure Relief Valves - Ensure valves are marked rjearty with P&ID # and/or what it operates.
