1;�: ,,N�TUE —7 1 WED THUR FRIJ SAT SUN ITEM 'N D ..N D N, D N D N D Leaks - Check all pumps for drips, leaks or damage -1FIN Vibration - Listen for vibrations that could be a sign of impending failure (ex: broken mounts, incorrect alignment) Abnormal Noise - Listen for abnormal noises that could be a sign of impending failure (bearings grinding, pump sounds like rocks are in it) Lubrication - Check oiler or sight glass for proper oil level Ensure oil is clear, not extremely dirty or foamy Pump/Motor Coupler - Visually inspect the coupler for signs of damage. Look for 'shavings" that would indicate ill, impending failure. Ensure safeguard is in place to prevent entanglement in rotating shaft. Off/On Switches - Ensure each switch is in the correct position, locked if required and clearly marked as to what it operates. Valve Position - Ensure valves are in the correct position, locked and/or sealed as required and clearly marked with a tag with its P&ID # Of its Purpose Containment Area - Ensure area is clear of leaves and debris; inspect for signs of damage Line Shock/Pipe Vibration -Watch and listen for vibration, which could be a sign of incorrectly sized piping, pumps, pressure relief valves, etc. -Pressure Relief Valves - Ensure valves are marked cleady with P&ID # and/or what it operates. Look for drips, leaks and sign of damage. Tags I Decals - Ensure all pumps are marked with their P&ID #, a tag describing their function or some means of identification. Pressure Gauges - Record pressure gauges when gauges are present. Ensure the gauge is within operating t1l guidelines for your system.
