Monthly Tank Inspection Checklist <br />Terminal: —&^nfi A <br />Inspection Month/Year: Cje,aT- Za (-j <br />Date: <br />Inspected By: 13� <br />ALL TANKS <br />Item # <br />1 Is the tank basin sound and clear of combustibles? <br />2 Is proper drainage and impounding provided around the tank shell and associated piping and <br />manifolds? <br />3 Are the drainage paths clear of debris and obstructions? <br />4 Bump the checker on the auto -gauge. Is the tank level gage reading accurately, as compared to hand <br />gauge? <br />5 Are leak detection drain pipe outlets (i.e. rat -holes) clear of obstructions? <br />6 Is the tank shell and surrounding area free of any visual signs of oil leakage? <br />7 Are all open ended nozzles, vent and drain (sample ports) either plugged or blinded? <br />6 Are tank foundations in good condition and can you see that the chime is visible, not buried in the soil <br />asphalt and not thinning? <br />9 Are water draw valves closed, locked or blinded and free of signs of leaks? <br />10 Is the lank shell paint in good condition and free from excessive corrosion as evidenced by pitting or <br />severe paint blistering? <br />11 Is the tank free of bulges, dents and rust? <br />12 Are flanges free of leaks and properly bolted up? <br />13 Are block valves and remote operated valves in good operating condition? <br />14 Are the stairs and handrails in good condition? <br />15 Is there a clear and level landing at the base of the stairs? <br />16 Is the gaugers platform in good housekeeping? <br />17 Are gauge hatches tightly closed and latched (where applicable)? <br />16 Is the center roof vent free and clear (excluding external floaters)? <br />TANK BOTTOM INSPECTION (Visual Inspection of Sump for Liquid or Vapor) <br />Is the external leak detection standpipe free of liquid or vapor? <br />19 (NOTE: l/liquldorvaporisfound,refertosection8.3.3.10o/TerminalYardlnspectionsSOP- <br />101/10-10.2. <br />INTERNAL FLOATING ROOF TANKS (as viewed through hatch on the gauging platform): <br />20 Are screens in place over eave vents? <br />21 Does the roof appear to be floating freely on the liquid surface? <br />22 Does the roof appear to be sufficiently grounded to the shell, evidenced by the roof seal remaining in <br />contact with the shell? <br />Instructions: <br />1.
