The AST (AST-2) was inspected on February 15, 2017, by James Montgomery, AST Inspector No. AST-133458, and Jordan Johnson,AST Inspector No. AST-T10388. Condor performed the inspection in general conformance with Steel Tank Institute (STI) Standard SP001 5a' Edition - September 2011 Formal External Inspection (FEI). The subject AST-2 is an elevated, multi-compartment, single-wall steel tank located within a secondary containment structure. Visual Observations • The subject tank,AST-2,has an Underwriters Laboratory(UL)AST identification label. • The tank was fabricated December 1989 and was manufactured by N.J. McCutchen,Inc. • The exterior wall of the tank and ancillary piping was inspected and appeared to be in good condition. • Minor leaks were observed in piping connections to both tank mounted pumps. • Visual observations of the tank's exterior shell showed no signs of pitting along the longitudinal section between the four and eight o'clock positions at the bottom of the tank.
