DATE: May 1, 2013 <br /> ADDRESS: 19555 Hwy 99 CITY: Acampo ZIP CODE: 95220 <br /> OWNERIOPERATOR: Al Thomas TELEPHONE#: (209) 368-5371 <br /> TYPE OF INSPECTION: ❑COMPLAINT ❑CONSULTATION Z OTHER PROGRAM AS- RECORD PR0515643 <br /> ELEMENT: ID#: <br /> NATURE OF COMPLAINT/CONSULTATION: <br /> On site to conduct an above ground storage tank(AST) survey and routine inspection. <br /> OBSERVATIONS/COMMENTS: <br /> Verified that the 10,000 gallon diesel tank has been permanently closed and that the 300 gallon <br /> motor oil tank and 300 gallon used oil tank have been removed. The only remaining AST on site is <br /> the 700 gallon motor oil tank which is kept inside the maintenance shop. <br /> Total facility liquid petroleum material storage capacity is currently at 700 gallons. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTIONS: <br /> Per California Health and Safety Code 25270.4.5(b) The owner or operator of a tank facility exempt <br /> pursuant to this subdivision shall take the following actions: (1) Conduct a daily visual inspection of <br /> any storage tank storing petroleum. (2) Allow the UPA to conduct a periodic inspection of the tank <br /> facility. (3) If the UPA determines installation of secondary containment is necessary for the <br /> protection of the waters of the state, install a secondary means of containment for each tank or <br /> group of tanks where the secondary containment will, at a minimum, contain the entire contents of <br /> the largest tank protected by the secondary containment plus precipitation.
