Hazardous Spill Instructions <br />1. Emergency contact instructions are posted by phones in break room and in shop. <br />2. In case of an evacuation or spill, Don Narten or Bud Wright are to notified so they <br />can notify the proper authorities and clean up companies, we will use Safety — <br />Kleen System for large spills 1-800-468-1760. <br />3. If evacuation is necessary, leave by the closest trouble free exit. <br />4. In case of Hazardous Release: Diesel Fuel, Antifreeze, oil <br />For small spills use cat litter. Large spills use spill packs located in designated <br />barrels. Dispose of all clean up materials in Hazardous Material Barrel only. <br />5. Handling and storage precautions are all listed on the Safety Data sheets, located <br />in break room. <br />Safety Precautions <br />A. When cleaning up spill wear gloves and any other safety equipment. <br />B. Containers are to be capped off while not in use. <br />C. Wipe up any spills on or around drums. <br />D. Batteries are to be kept on separate pallet. No other type of product should be on <br />the pallet. <br />E. NO SMOKING IN SHOP AREA. <br />6. In the event you have a spill on the road stop the leak the best way possible. If the <br />leak is going towards a storm drain block it off, and notify Fire Dept. or a <br />Hazardous Materials Dept. <br />7. If you are in yard notify Don or Bud. <br />
