There must be at least one <br /> emergency coordinator on site or on call to coordinate emergency response measures, and the following information <br /> must be posted by a phone: the name and phone number of the emergency coordinator; location of fire extinguishers, <br /> spill control equipment, and if present, fire alarm; and the phone number of the fire department, unless the facility has <br /> a direct alarm. Immediately appoint an emergency coordinator and post the required information by a phone. A form <br /> is provided that can be used for this purpose. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> 301 CCR 66262.34(d)(2) Facility not maintained to minimize the release of a hazardous waste. <br /> Observed dark oil stain on the ground inbetween the used oil drum and waste antifreeze drum. Facilities shall be <br /> maintained and operated to minimize the possibility of a fire, explosion, or release of hazardous waste to air, soil, or <br /> surface water which could threaten human health or the environment. Immediately clean up the contaminated dirt, and <br /> manage according to Title 22 hazardous waste regulations. Submit a statement and supporting documentation <br /> explaining how this waste was managed. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> 406 CCR 66261.7(f)Contaminated container not marked with date emptied or managed within one year of being emptied. <br /> 1-55 gallon yellow drum of racing fuel and 1-55 gallon oil drum were not marked empty and lacked the date that they <br /> became empty. The manager marked the drums with the word empty and label the date that it became empty. <br /> Containers larger than five gallons that previously held a hazardous material shall be marked with the date they were <br /> emptied and managed within one year of being emptied. Immediately mark and manage all empty containers per this <br /> section. This was corrected on site. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> 608 CCR 66266.130 Failed to properly manage used oil and fuel filters. <br /> Used oil filter 55 gallon drum lacked the accumulation start date. Used oil filters shall be drained of free-flowing oil, <br /> stored in a closed, rainproof container, labeled as"drained used oil filters," and marked with an accumulation start <br /> date. Immediately label the 55 gallon drum with the accumulation start date and ensure that all used oil filters are <br /> managed in this way. <br /> Bills of lading for the recycling of used oil filters for 2013 were not found on site. A copy of each bill of lading must be <br /> kept on site for at least three years.
