During purging,litemperature, pH and dissolved solids
were monitored until they stabilized(±10 percent). The water samples were collected using a clean
disposable polyethylene bailer. The ground-water sampleslwere collected in appropriate sized
precleaned laboratory containers. Samples for volatile organic analyses were recovered in
40-milliliter vials lined with a Teflon septum. The volatile organic samples were recovered with }
zero headspace to prevent the loss of volatile constituents. ! I
Laboratory Testing
The soil and ground water samples were analyzed for total extractable hydrocarbons as
diesel/motor oil (EPA mod 8015) and volatile organics (EPA 8260). No detectable petroleum
hydrocarbons or volatile organics were reported for the three soil samples. Trace concentrations of
gasoline and diesel were reported for the ground-water sample at levels of 80 arts per billion b
g P ' P 14 P P CPP )
and 70 ppb respectively. No VOC's were reported for the water sample. The laboratory test report
is provided as an attachment.
We are pleased to be of continued service to you regarding this project.
