Alegre Trucking Company, Inc. 4203-F3
Former Trucking Facility June 9, 1997
GROUND-WATER MONITORING WELL INSTALLATION Page 3
Ground-Water Sampling
Approximately 48 hours after development, four to fiveDwell-casing volumes of water were z
{ removed using a submersible electric pump. During purging temperature, pH and dissolved solids
were monitored until they stabilized(±10 percent). The water samples were collected using a clean
disposable polyethylene bailer. The ground-water samples were collected in appropriate sized
precleaned laboratory containers. Samples for volatile organic analyses were recovered in
40-milliliter vials lined with a Teflon septum. The volatile organic samples were recovered with
I
zero headspace to prevent the loss of volatile constituents.
i
Laboratory Testing
i
The ground water was analyzed for total extractable hydrocarbons as diesel/motor oil (EPA mod
8015) and volatile organics (EPA 8260). No detectable petroleum hydrocarbons or volatile
organics were reported from the laboratory analyses. The laboratory test report is provided as an t
attachment.
We are pleased to be of continued service to you regarding this project.
