Cherokee Rd, Stockton, CA 95215 Record ID PR0528482
1/13/17
PHOTO # 1
The SPCC Plan included a section for "Required Improvements," including upgrades to secondary containment; many of these items have not been
implemented by the facility, and none of them have been certified by a Drofessional engineer.
REQUIRED IMPROVEMENTS
r<' comply with the SPCC regulations in 40 CFR 112, the following improvements are required:
• All 55 -gallon drums containing oil products (Drums 1-6 and 10-17) located in the Facility must be
equipped with secondary containment to hold at least 55 gallons. [I 12.7(c)]
goo Tank I I should be moved away from the wall of the storage shed to allow visual inspection of all
sides of the tank. [I 12.8(c)(6)]
• The Gasoline tank (Tank 7) requires additional secondary containment in the amount of 3b7-
gallons, or approximately 50 cubic feet. [I 12.7(e)]
• The used 250 -gallon Slam from DWS (Tank 10)
and the used antifreeze tank (Tank 6) must be
cx'u,pped with secondary containment to hold 250 gallons (each). Once this required improvement
crjmpleted, the tanks should be covered in order to minimize the precipitation accumulation int
-(jrjdar`.- containment. Alternatively, the secondary contaim
nent can be constructed to he
1ffic! n? freeboard f6r precipitation.
