Re- <br />move the straps from the heating collar. <br />Carefully turn the collar inside out with <br />the heated area facing the I.D. of the <br />pipe. M <br />Allow the joint to return to ambient temperature before apply <br />ing stress to the joint. <br />Note: Fiber Glass Systems' electric <br />heating collars are designed to fit <br />around fittings and will overlap on pipe <br />joints and couplings. Exceeding the `tip <br />recommended cure time on pipe joints <br />where the heating collar overlaps may <br />shorten the life of the heating collar <br />and/or damage the pipe. <br />Refer to Chem Cure Paks Literature included with each kit for <br />complete instructions. Observe all safety precautions listed <br />on the installation sheet. <br />The adhesive bead will cure faster than the adhesive in the <br />joint. It is important that the joint not be pressurized until it has <br />been subjected to the proper time -temperature cycle. <br />28 <br />
