Inspectors check the certifications when they arrive at the site. The NOV
documentation of trainees will be with the service request package to confirm NOV training.
Concerning number 8 on page 4 of the "Application for UST Retrofit or Piping Repair Permit", you entered the analyses
to be performed on the collected soil samples. If you look on page 5 of the "Application for UST Retrofit or Piping Repair
Permit", the Table #2 shows that UNL GAS analyses include: TPH-G, BTEX, and oxygenates (MTBE, TBA, DIPE, ETRE,
TAME) plus 1,2 -DCA and EDB. These analyses must be performed on the eight soil samples collected below the under
dispenser containments. In addition, soil samples taken from the two under dispenser containment locations where
diesel was dispensed need to be analyzed for TPH-D also.
Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have concerns or questions about the analytical.
Thank you.
Vicki McCartney, Senior REHS
San Joaquin County
Environmental Health Department
1868 East Hazelton Avenue
Stockton, California 95205
Phone: (209) 468-9852
Email: vmccartney(as*cehd.com
*Q"iN
From: Keith Perks[mailto:keith(abperkspetroleum.com]
Sent: Tuesday, March 21, 2017 8:45 AM
To: Vicki McCartney [EH]
Subject: RE: SR0076606
Good morning Vick,
Thanks for the response. The reason that I had to submit the letter from NOV is because we will not have their
certificates for about another 2 weeks from NOV. Also, I know that I have sent over certifications from a number of our
employee's and the reason that I have done this is because honestly at this point I'm not exactly sure who will be on that
project as we are getting extremely busy. But either way whoever is on that project I will make sure that they have their
