MOSSDALE FACILITY,LATHROP, SAN
JOA QUIN COUNTY
Enclosed is a report summarizing my 20 September 2000 inspection of the Brown Sand Mossdale
aggregate facility. In general, the stormwater and process wastewater system was acceptable. A site
inspection photograph log is enclosed with this letter. The following observations were made during
the site inspection:
• All process wastewater is being discharged to the lake through a conveyance canal. No
flocculants are being added to the wastewater.
• The canal discharges to the settling lake.
• Process water is recycled by pumping the water from the settling lake to the material washing
equipment.
• No odors were noted at the site.
• The freeboard in the conveyance canal and settling lake was acceptable.
If you have any questions on this information, please telephone me at (916) 255-3116.
TIMbTH R.
