Willy Ng [EH]
From: Willy Ng [EH]
Sent: Wednesday, June 26, 2013 2:50 PM
To: 'matt@rentstockton.com'
Cc: Raymond von Flue [EH]
Subject: RTC for Tiki Lagun
Attachments: qualified facilities vs other facilities.doc
Matt,
I reviewed the hazardous waste and aboveground petroleum storage inspections from September 2012 and found that
the following items are still lacking:
Hazardous Waste violations
#125—need copies of the used oil receipts for 2010 and 2011
#605—need copy of manifest for disposal of waste absorbent found in yellow drum during the inspection
#703—need hazardous waste training done and records submitted
Aboveground petroleum storage violations
An SPCC plan still needs to be completed. Stacy noted that a Tier 1 plan was submitted, but the facility does not qualify
for a Tier 1. The plan did not mention the presence of the 2000 gallon diesel tank, the 250 gallon used oil tank was
noted as a 35 gallon tank. Liquid level sensors were also not addressed. At this point, unless Tiki Lagun removes enough
containers and/or tanks to qualify as a Tier 1 or 2 facility, a Professional Engineer prepared plan is required. I've
attached a file that explains how a facility can qualify as a Tier 1 or 2 facility.
Thanks,
Willy Ng
Lead Senior Registered Environmental Health Specialist
San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department
1868 E.
