ATC's'recommendation in that report was
F that additional investigation activities appear to be necessary to delineate the vertical extent of
petroleum hydrocarbon impacted soil and the horizontal 1,t:extent of petroleum hydrocarbon
impacted groundwater.
C The additional investigation activities should include the advancement of three soil borings and
completing the borings as groundwater monitoring wells to assess the extent of petroleum
impacted groundwater. In addition, one of the borings should be advanced using continuous core
methods to a depth of at least 40 feet below ground surface to assess the vertical extent of
petroleum impacted soil. 0
If you have any questions or require additional information, please contact us at (209) 579-2221.
I
Respectfully Submitted,
ATC Associates Ince
Ute— lam"-
k
Drew Van Allen
Staff Scientist '
Je a Homsey, P.E.
€ .i
i4
Registered Engineer No. C47410
P -
cc: Mr. Leo Zuber-Ripon Unified School District
wA13099Vcttmkaddsumi.doc 1
t
E
