PHS/EHD notified,,you on September 24 that the <br /> site was placed into the Local Oversight Program. Since some time has past since the <br /> contamination was first evidenced at the site, PHSIEHD Has summarized the site history for <br /> your consideration and has provided regulatory directives for your response. <br /> Tank #39-2243-04 Removal <br /> On February 20, 1991 , the 500 gallon tank with an unknown fuel history was removed <br /> and one soil sample was collected from beneath the tank.} No piping was present. The tank rinseate which comprised approximately <br /> 55 gallons was transported under manifest (88443647)to Gibson Environmental in <br /> Bakersfield CA on February 20, 1991 . <br /> Tank #39-2243-03 Removal <br /> On August 28, 1991, the 550 gallon unleaded gasoline tank was removed and one soil <br /> sample was collected from beneath the tank. Less than 20 feet of piping was present; <br /> therefore, a soil sample was not collected in the piping area.
