Findings From Water Sample Analysis
. MW-2,MW-3,and MW-4 were dry and not sampled. MTBE concentrations in monitoring well EW-1
continues to be non-detect. Monitoring well GMX-1 continues to have trace amounts of MTBE,59ppb.
Of the two wells sampled, TPHg continues to decrease after treatment, EW-1(85%),and GMX-1(27%)
from the June 17 sampling date. Of the two wells sampled,BTEX compounds remain consistently low
with Benzene and Toluene as non-detect and trace amounts of Ethyl-Benzene and Xylene.
The proposed clean up levels from the approved "Final Remedial Plan" and the average remaining
concentrations are as follows:
Com-ound Concentration Goals Average Remaining_Concentrations
Benzene 0.005mg/L ND
MTBE 0.001 mg/L 0.012mg/L
TPHg 2.Omg/L 0.0003mg/L
With only two wells with water the direction and slope of the groundwater can not be calculated. It is
hypothesized that the direction would be the same as the typical summer/fall direction,to the South-East.
Conclusions
Pumping has brought the plume to the surface for treatment and disposal. All regulated constituents have
been brought within the EPA's drinking water standards.
Recommendations
Foothill Engineering continues to recommend that the San Joaquin County Public Health Services,
Environmental Health Department issue a letter stating no further action is required for this site.
Please contact Mike Vlach at(916) 729-5184 if any questions arise concerning this report.
Respectfully submitted,
QROF5S1pNq
Foothill Engineering PROBER*1
C 57707
Mike Vlach, P.E.
