Kettleman Lane, Lodi, CA LOP Site code: 503357
Global ID T0607700812
Dear Sir:
Please find below a report on the groundwater sampling event of June 17, 2004 for Sunwest Liquors.
GROUNDWATER REMEDIATION MONITORING REPORT
SUN WEST LIQUORS
6117104
History
On 7/10/1998 Thorpe Oil of Lodi, California removed the three gasoline USTs from the Sun West
property. Soil samples from underneath the USTs and the dispenser piping indicated that some leaks had
occurred during the life of the gasoline sales operation. Foothill Engineering did a site investigation to
determine the vertical and horizontal extent of the gasoline contamination on 8/13/1998 and 812111998.
Geomatrix installed the monitoring well GMX-1 at a location+/-25 feet south of the UST excavation and
sampled first groundwater. Geomatrix also made three soil borings(GB#1, GB92,and GB#3)with both
soil samples and groundwater samples extracted. All samples on GB#1, GB#2, and GB#3 were non-
detect for all compounds analyzed.
The work plan of 5124199 called for the installation of three soil borings to be located on the Sun West
Liquor property and the possible installation of a fourth soil boring on the south side of Kettleman Lane.
Soil samples were to be extracted at predetermined depths for laboratory analysis. A monitoring well to
sample ground water was to be constructed in each of the soil borings.
Groundwater sampling quarterly events have occurred from 7112199 to 05117104. Laboratory data for all
40
groundwater sampling analysis for each event is enclosed in a recap format(see attached recaps).A copy
of the complete Laboratory Certificate of Analysis is enclosed for only this sampling event.
On January 28, 2002, ACT Inc. performed a pump test on a 15" extraction well with a 6" PVC casing.
1
K
