This report presents
the results of ground -water monitoring performed at the Site for the period of January l through
March 31, 2006. This report also contains a technical status summary of the work completed at
the Site during the reporting period and work anticipated to be performed during April through
June, 2006.
' 2.0 GROUND -WATER MONITORING RESULTS
Ground -water monitoring performed at the Site consisted of the following activities:
' . Quarterly collection of ground -water level measurements from monitoring wells.
• Quarterly collection and laboratory analysis of ground -water samples from monitoring wells.
• Preparation and submittal of ground -water monitoring reports.
2.1 Ground -Water Elevations and Flow Direction
Water -level measurements and calculated ground -water elevations were collected from
monitoring wells MW -1 through MW -3 on February 15, 2006. Water -level measurement and
calculated ground -water elevation data are summarized in Table 1. Ground -water elevations
from Site monitoring wells were used to construct a water table elevation contour map (Figure
2).
Ground -water level data indicate the depth to ground water measured in the monitoring wells on
February 15, 2006 varied between 46.45- and 46.95 -feet below grade. These data indicate higher
ground -water levels at the Site compared to previous water -level measurements collected in
October 2005 (approximately 2.61 -feet higher at well MW -1). Water -table elevation data
collected at the Site indicate a general west-northwest direction of ground -water flow, with a
v - calculated horizontal hydraulic gradient of approximately 0.044 ft/ft (Figure 2).. Previous reports
of potentiometric data and interpretations of ground -water flow at the Site indicate ground -water
flow direction varies between northwest and southwest.
