I just thought l would forward this along to you. Sharon Welch
with the City of Lodi stated that the drilling contractor would be in touch with us regarding permits.
-----Original Message-----
From: Sharon Welch [mailto:swelch@lodi.gov]
Sent: Friday, March 10, 2006 1:10 PM
To: edunn@earthtouchinc.com
Cc: Greg Oliveira [EH]; Jeannie Matsumoto
Subject: Work Plan Comments
Thank you for the opportunity to review and comment on the work plan for the investigation work to be done at 210 S. Sacramento
siSand 2506 Maggio Circle. The City has no comments on the Maggio Circle work. However, the 210 S. Sacramento Street
within an area of known soil and groundwater contamination with PCE, TCE and other VOCs. A monitoring well (G24A,B)
located on Walnut Street just west of Sacramento Street is showing levels of TCE between 110 and 130 ug/L in 2005. We
recommend that one of the two proposed soil borings be done further east on the site, and both should include groundwater
samples near first water and at 120 ft. depth.
We also note that groundwater is at 50+ft. bgs, not 25 ft. as noted on page 2 of the plan.
Richard Prima
City of Lodi
Public Works Director
(209)333-6759
(209)333-6710 fax
3/16/2006
