The available records indicate that the tank was <br /> removed from the site and disposed of properly: The soils at the <br /> tank site are clay rich near the surface. k <br /> i <br /> A soil sample collected from beneathltheJwest end of the <br /> tank contained 31,400 mg/kg total petroleum hydrocarbons-gasoline <br /> (TPH--G) and various aromatic hydrocarbon constituents at <br /> concentrations up to 1,530 mg/kg. BenzeneI� was detected at 150 <br /> .;i <br /> mg/kg. The soil sample collected from beneath the east end"of <br /> the tank contained no petroleum hydrocarbons at the reported <br /> laboratory detection limit. Total lead content of both samples <br /> was within the expected range for valley sloils .t <br /> a� <br /> IE <br /> 3 . 0 PROPOSED SCOPE OF WORK { <br /> 11 <br /> The work proposed for this investigation includes the <br /> I <br /> drilling of three (3) soil borings locatedEaround the west end of <br /> h <br /> the former tank site. The proposed locations of the soil ..borings <br /> L iil <br /> (SB1, SB2 and SB3) are shown in Figure 2 . All permits required <br /> j� <br /> for the drilling of the soil borings will be obtained from San <br /> Joaquin County. The soil borings will beldrilled by a California f <br /> i.- <br /> Ir <br /> licensed driller, under the direct supervision of a Condor <br /> geologist.
