k4 KLEINFELDER <br /> t <br /> TASK 1.0 REGULATORY AGENCY AND OTHER RECORDS REVIEW <br /> 1.1 Standard Environmental Record Sources: Federal and State <br /> A review of published lists of state and federal regulatory agency investigations and/or <br /> enforcement actions for the site and within the following ASTM minimum search distances of <br /> the site. <br /> • United States Environmental Protection Agency (U.S.E.P.A.) National Priority List (NPL), <br /> RCRA Treatment, Storage and Disposal (TSD) facilities, the Cal-EPA Department of Toxic <br /> Substances Control (DTSC) Cal-Sites List including the Bond Expenditure Plan (BEP) and <br /> Annual Workplan and the Cal-EPA Office of Environmental Information Hazardous Waste <br /> and Substances Sites List (formerly the CORTESE list) for the site and properties within one <br /> mile of the site. <br /> • U.S. E.P.A. CERCLIS list, Regional Water Quality Control Board Tank Tracking System and <br /> California Integrated Waste Management Board SWIS and SWAT lists within one-half mile <br /> of the site. <br /> • The RCRA generators list and the local or state list of registered underground storage tanks <br /> for the site and adjacent properties. The Emergency Response Notification System (ERNS) <br /> for the subject site only. <br /> 1.2 Additional Environmental Sources; State and Local <br /> 1.2.1 Review of reasonably ascertainable state and local regulatory agency records for <br /> information pertaining to environmental permits, site investigations, and documented <br /> enforcement actions for the subject site and adjacent facilities only. State and local <br /> agencies contacted may include the following as appropriate: <br /> The local agency branch of the State Office of Emergency Services, the Regional Water <br /> Quality Control Board, the local Environmental Health Department, the local Fire <br /> Department, the Air Quality Management District or Air Pollution Control District, the <br /> local Planning Department, the Building Department, or the local utility company. <br /> 1.2.2 Interviews with local government officials for information regarding use, storage, and <br /> disposal of hazardous substances for the subject site or adjacent properties.
