The former operators of the underground storage tanks, the Bui's, have contracted for the
investigation and have applied to the Underground Storage Tank Cleanup Fund for reimbursement
of costs.
The soil and ground water investigation is required by EHD due to high concentrations of petroleum
hydrocarbons detected in ground water at the site. The full extent of the soil and ground water
impacts have not been determined.
The additional investigation will consist of the installation of additional ground water monitoring
wells and borings at the site.
Advanced GeoEnvironmental Inc.is requesting permission to install and quarterly sample the ground
water monitoring wells at the site; an access agreement is enclosed for your review and signature.
The access agreement addresses the following procedures:
• Installation of ground water monitoring wells and borings, as required by EHD during the
course of the investigation, at the site;
• AGE will notify you at least 48 hours in advance of all field activities and make all
reasonable efforts to minimize disturbances to any on-site business;
• Upon completion of the laboratory analysis, a report of findings will be submitted to all
involved parties.
If acceptable, please return the signed Access Agreement form in the enclosed envelope. Your
cooperation in the investigation will be greatly appreciated.
837 Shaw Road, Stockton, California 95215
Telephone(209) 467-1006 Fax (209)467-1118
