San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) has <br />received on September 14, 2005 a copy of SecondQuarter 2003Quarterly Sampling Report dated <br />August, 31, 2005 prepared by Advanced GeoEnvironmental Inc. (AGE). The report <br />included analytical results of the monitoring well samples for the first and second quarters of <br />2005. The concentration of methyl tert butyl ether (MTBE) in water from MW -2 increased <br />to 6,000 micrograms per liter (ug/1) in June 2005 from 3,600 ug/1 in February 2005, and <br />benzene to 4,900 ug/1 from 2,800 ug/l. Conversely, the concentration of MTBE in MW -3 <br />groundwater decreased to 3,700 ug/1 in June 2005 from 7,900 ug/1 in February 2005, and <br />benzene to 5,000 ug/1 from 6,300 ug/l. EHD has not received any additional quarterly <br />reports to date. EHD is not aware of any quarterly sampling events being performed since <br />June 2005. You are also required to submit laboratory data and reports electronically to <br />Geotracker the State Water Resources Control Broad's. Internet data base system in <br />accordance with Title 23, Division 3, Chapter 30, Article 2, Sections 3891 to 3894 of the <br />CCR. Laboratory data and reports have not been submitted to Geotracker for this site. <br />Quarterly sampling of the wells and submitting the data to Geotracker must be performed. <br />Only three monitoring wells have been installed at the site to date. Analytical results of the <br />groundwater samples and previous investigation indicates all three wells have been impacted <br />
