Three letters dated November 6, 1998, December 19, 2001, and December 2,
1998 were sent to you from San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD)
warning you that your failure to submit a preliminary work plan to investigate the extent of
the contamination at this site may result in referring the case to the San Joaquin District
Attorney's Office and the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board (RWQCB).
Two meetings were scheduled at the EHD office, one on January 14, 1999 and the other on
June 4, 1999 to discuss your requirement to comply with EHD directives. The work plan
has not been received by EHD to date.
Therefore, EHD is referring this case to both the San Joaquin District Attorney's
Office and the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board for enforcement
action.
If you have any questions contact Jeffrey Wong at (209) 468-0335.
Donna Heran, REHS, Director
Env' onmental Health Division
Jeffreyong, Senior REHS
LOP/Site Mitigation Unit IV
c: RWQCB, Central Valley Region — Marty Hartzell
c: SJCADA - David Irey
Margaret Lagono, REHS
Supervisor
A Division of San Joaquin County Health Care Services
