Box 5004 San Ramon, CA 94583 Reference: Site Assessment at 2400 Airport Way Stockton, California; Versar Job No. 6147.323 Dear Ms. Heath This letter is to confirm our conversation of March 16, 1989. During that conversation you informed me that Chevron's Legal Department has instigated a new policy requiring all property information requests to be in writing. The request needs to state what information is required, as well as the reason for the request. Versar's client is interested in purchasing a property at 2400 • Airport Way, at the southwest corner of Airport Way and 10th street in Stockton, California. The Assessor's Parcel Number for the property is 169-100-29. During the approximate time frame of 1956 to 1977, a service station was operated on the site. Records indicate that underground gasoline storage tanks were installed in 1956 and replaced in 1964, and later, reportedly removed. There are no records on file with the San Joaquin Local Health District or the Stockton Fire Department regarding the removal of the underground storage tanks or any subsurface sampling. Because of the potential for environmental impairment from underground storage tanks, the lender is requiring an environmental assessment of the property.
