Site Description and Background (attach map and Area Map)
The facility is an operating bakery, complete with warehoue,
loading, and transportation facilities. Two underground
gasoline storage tanks have been removed. Gasoline contamineted
soil detected during tank removal. Contaminated soil removed
with tanks. I
Previous investigative work by Anderson Geotechnical and ESE
confirmed low levels of petroleum contamination in the
groundwater, which is approximately 35 to 40 feet below the .
surface. The purpose of this phase of the investigation is to
confirm the lateral extent of that groundwater contamination,
confirm that all cotaminated soil has been removed, and develop
a remedial action plan for the contaminated groundwater.
