The ORP electrode has been checked for proper responsse prior to your rental. <br />' however, if you need to verify coorect response of ORP during your rental use the <br /> following instructions to do so: <br />' The displayed mV value is not temperature compensated and should be corrected to <br /> 25 C at 1.3mW C. The temperature coefficient is in reverse proportion to the <br />,,Xmperature. The calculated value for the Zobell Solution should be 231 ±25mV at <br /> C. <br />' Example: Zobell Solution temperature = 22.1 C <br /> Displayed value of Zobell Solution = 236mV <br /> 231 mV = Display Value + [(Temp. of Solution - 25 C) x (1.3mV)] <br />' 231 mV = 236mV + [(22.1 C -25 C) x (1 .3mV)] <br />' 231 mV = 236mV + [-3.8mV] <br /> 231 mV = 232.2mV, corrected to 25 C <br /> The calculated value of the Zobell Solution in this example is within its specified range <br /> Iof 231 +25mV. This confirms that the ORP system is functioning properly.
