A PID shouldbei utilized during the overexcavation to
f provide qualitative evidence of the limits of hydrocarbon impact.
■ After excavation, clean closure samples from the sidewalls and floor of the excavation
{ should be collected through the use of a backhoe or similar equipment. Closure
samples should be analyzed for BTEX, TPH-G, organid lead, and ethylene dibromide.
I
' ■ Backfilling of the excavation with clean soil, and compacting the material to existing
i
engineering standards.
■ Proper characterization, profiling, transport, land disposal of the impacted soil
associated with the excavation.
I
i
Groundwater Technology is please to provide this service for BP Chemical.
