DEC. 19. 2006 5: 59PM PARSONS-925-979-9781 NO. 5103 P. 12
EXHIBIT 2
BP Amoco Chemical Company ("BP") is continuing to work with the California EPA,
Regional Water Quality Control Board ("RWQCB") in the groundwater remediation
program related to historical groundwater contamination at Applied Aerospace Structures
Corporation, 3437 South Airport Way, Stockton, CA ("Facility"). As part of BP's
remedial activities, the RWQCB has asked BP to drill soil borings and collect
groundwater samples from various locations south and east of the existing monitoring
well MW-15 to determine the lateral distances at which chemicals originating from the
Facility may be present. One of these boring locations is in the property known as
Assessor's Parcel No. 177-020-27-004("Property").
BP or its consultant will drill at the location identified as P-105. The drill truck will
occupy the boring location during one work day. Several probe holes will be drilled
within a one-foot area using a 2-inch diameter sampling rod. The depth of sampling will
extend to a maximum depth of approximately 100 feet. Each hole will be sealed with
grout and covered with top soil upon completion of the work.
The proposed location of the boring, which has been approved by the RWQCB, is shown
on the accompanying map.
As part of its work, BP will manage and properly dispose of all waste generated during
BP's the drilling and sampling activity.
[a To remove this message,
This document was created usin 5 CI LI D i ? purchase the 1
ALIF
CONVERTER PDF [ 1 product at www.soiidPDF.com `
