Mr. Gerald Djuth <br /> November 24, 2003 <br /> Page 2 <br /> The above table shows the gradient direction at MW-5R, estimated based on groundwater <br /> elevation maps for four consecutive quarters in two time periods: a) 1998-99 which <br /> followed a spring season of regional groundwater recharge and preceded initiation of <br /> remedial groundwater extraction at the site and b) during the 2003 annual reporting <br /> period (Nov. 2002 — August 2003). The results for the two periods are similar; therefore, <br /> the new well position was selected based on an average of both reference years. <br /> As per my voice mail, in the process of making inquiries for access to install the well, we <br /> recently learned that ownership of the property has changed.
