MW
In groundwater, petroleum hydrocarbon compounds were detected above laboratory reporting
limits in the three existing wells (MW-1, MW-2, and MW-3) and in three of the five newly-in statted
monitoring welts (MW-4, MW-5, and MW-6). Consistent with previous quarterly groundwater
analytical results, the highest concentrations of petroleum hydrocarbons were detected in the
sample collected from MW-1, which contained 636 tig/1 of TPH-as-jet fuel, 19,900 gg/l of TPH-as-
gasoline, 5,640 RgA of benzene, 198 p of toluene, 773 jig/l of ethylbenzene, 807 gg/l of xylenes,
and 88 j.Lg/l of 1,2-DCA. The only petroleum hydrocarbon compound detected above reporting
limits in the newly-installed wells was TPH-as-gasoline at concentrations ranging from 89.8 ggA in
MW-4 to 450 tig/l in MW-6. The groundwater sample collected from the sandy interval at
!jppro)dmAtel Lj04 feet,in CPT-1 contained 131 jigA of TPH-as-gasoline and 3.1 g of
ethytbenzene, The groundwater sample analytical results are summarized in Table 4, an
isoconcentration map of TPH-as-gasoline in first groundwater is shown on Figure 4, and the
laboratory reports are included in Appendix G.
limp
12
