Stockton Metropolitan Airport Page 3 of 3 <br /> Former Fuel Station April 16, 2015 <br /> 5000 South Airport Boulevard <br /> Stockton, California 95206 <br /> Wefts that have laboratory data from the last groundwater sampling event that report <br /> non-detectable concentrations of contaminants of concern and with acceptable <br /> laboratory detection limits, and are not in areas of known or suspected soil <br /> contamination, may be destroyed by pressure grouting from the bottom upward while <br /> leaving the well casing in place. Enlarge the diameter of the top 3 feet of the borehole at <br /> least one foot larger than the auger originally utilized to install the well, after the grout <br /> mixture has completely filled the casing, apply at least 25 pounds per square inch (psi) <br /> pressure on the grout for ten minutes (destroy the well by over-drilling if the well casing <br /> is unable to withstand this pressure for this length of time); cut off and remove the casing <br /> 6 inches above the bottom of the excavation before inserting grout into the excavation to <br /> create a "cap" with a vertical thickness of one foot, this "cap" must be installed in one <br /> continuous pour immediately after the well has been destroyed-, and <br /> All investigation derived wastes, including all soil cuttings, debris, and groundwater <br /> generated from well destruction activities, shall be containerized for proper disposal and <br /> the containers labeled to indicate waste: hazards, composition, generation site address, <br /> generator's name, and date of accumulation. <br /> If you have any questions please call Gabriel Gonzalez at t9)468-3442 or Nuel Henderson at <br /> (209)468-3436. <br /> Gabriel Gonzalez, EHS Nuel C.
