The monitoring wells were installed to a total depth of 65 feat below surface grade <br /> b g to intercept first groundwater. T"he monitoring well were monitored and sampled <br /> on November 26, 2002. The groundwater samples and soil samples collected daring the <br /> installation of the walls were submitted for chemical analysis of petroleum hydrocarbon <br /> constituents. Basalts of those analyses indicate that the vertical and lateral extent of the <br /> contaminant plume in groundwater is not defined, <br /> You are directed to submit a work plan to continue the investigation of the vertical and <br /> lateral extant of the petroleum hydrocarbon contamination at this site.
