Sails observed to the Natal drilling depth of 105 feet mostly consisted of massive clay and silt soils,
interrupted by relatively thin and discontinuous s s nd intervals up to five feet thick. Based on the
CPT interpretation;the most significant sandy intervals exist between approximately 56 and 66
feet bgs and gg and 104 feet bgs.
In sail only the samples"collected at 45 feet bgs frons the borings for W-6 and MW-7 contained
concentrations of petroleum hydr sc rl ns above laboratory reporting limits. No petroleum
hydrocarbon compounds were detected above laboratory reporting limits for the other 14 soil
samples analyzed. The soil sample analytical results are summarized in Table 6
In groundwater, petroleum hydrocarbon compo nds were detected above laboratory reporting
limits in the throe existing wells (MW-1, W- , and MW-3) and in three of the five newly-installed
monitoring ells (MW-4, W-5, and MW-6), The groundwater sample collected from the sandy
interval at approximatelyt feet inCPT- contained `1 `I grl of Tl l- s-gasoline and 5. lLg l of
othyll on or o. The groundwater sample analytical results aro summarized in Table
f
6
