1 IT Project No.. <br />IT CORPORATION <br />Site Health and Safety Plan <br />I GENERAL INFORMATION <br />765436 01010000 <br />Project Name- San Joaquin County Dept of Aviation <br />Stockton Metro Airport Fuel Farm <br />Date: January 3, 1995 <br />' Project Site Location- 5000 S Airport Way, Stockton, CA 95206 <br />Client Contact: Mr Mike Brooks Phone: (209) 468-4700 <br />' Project Manager: Joseph Ramage <br />' The Project Manager is responsible for all onsite activities, including having all appropriate <br />plans prepared and distributing the plans to IT field personnel and to authorized <br />representatives of each subcontractor employed to perform work on site The Project <br />Manager as also responsible for ensuring that the provisions of the Health and Safety Plan <br />(HSP) are carried out This includes ensuring that all IT field personnel have received <br />adequate training, that an adequate supply of safety and emergency equipment is available, <br />' and that the required safety reports are submitted to the regional Health and. Safety Officer <br />Designated Site Safety Officer- R David Smith <br />The Site Safety Officer (SSO) is responsible for implementing the site health and safety plan <br />' This includes ensuring that field personnel have read and signed the HSP, and that a Tailgate <br />Safety Meeting is conducted on site each day prior to initiating field activities In addition, <br />the SSO will be responsible for auditing the site operations for compliance with the health <br />' and safety plan and any applicable federal, state or local requirements The SSO is required <br />to be on site at all times In the SSO's absence, a designated alternate will assume the duties <br />and responsibilities <br />tWork Objectives/Scope: Collect soil and groundwater samples from two soil borings using a <br />Geoprobe 5400 Direct Penetration Technology (DPT) rag Investigation derived wastes are <br />' not anticipated under this scope <br />
