3.0 MONITORING RESULTS SUMMARY
3.1 GROUNDWATER PHYSICAL HARACTERISTI S AND GROUNDWATER
GRADIENT CONTOURS
Table 1 presents a summary of the groundwater physical characteristics and water level
measurements collected at each well during the 6 December 1995 monitoring event.
Table 1
Field Monitoring Data
Well
pH Temperature
Electrical
Reference Elevation' Depth to Water
6 December
ID
(units) (° F)
Conductivity
Top of Casing From Reference
1995
(umhos)
(feet) (feet)
Water Elevation'
(feet)
MW -1
72 27
600
2093 4490
-23 97
MW -2
70 26
510
21 34 4477
-23 43
MW -3
7 1 27
690
2107 4495
-23 88
Notes
'Elevations are given m feet relative to mean sea level (MSL)
Groundwater elevations have increased an average of 0.8 feet since the last date when
measurements were made (15 September 1995). This increase in groundwater elevations was
due to increased rainfall since the last sampling event
' The groundwater elevations were used to produce a contour map showing the groundwater
surface at the facility relative to mean sea level (Figure 3) The horizontal gradient at the site
is 1 3 x 10'2 feet/foot with groundwater flow toward the northwest The groundwater flow
' direction and gradient have changed only slightly since the last sampling event
3.2 ANALYTICAL RESULTS
All groundwater samples were analyzed for BTEX by EPA Method 8020 and for TPH-D by
EPA Method 8015M The analytical results for this and all previous sampling events are
summarized in Table 2 The analytical reports for the fourth quarter sampling event are
presented in Appendix B
I
4 12)merry INN
L 1P1t0lECTS%SAN10Q1TMAD-4CH QTR
