The contaminants of concern associated with <br /> this spill is JP-8. Attached is an MSDS for JP-8 that details the components to be Kerosene and naphthalene. As <br /> shown in the MSDS JP-8 is100%kerosene with 0.04%Naphthalene. Typical contaminant of concerns for site <br /> investigation and assessments for JP-8 are TPH Jet and Polyaromatic Hydrocarbons (PAHs by 8270 SIM) <br /> Also attached is an example page from the San Diego Water Board as a reference that details the analytical <br /> requirements when looking for Kerosene. As shown, they recommend that you investigate for 8015 and 8270 <br /> SIM PAHs. <br /> Therefore analyzing for TPH by 8015 and PAHs by 8270 SIM is appropriate for the constituents of concern. <br /> Please let me know if you have any questions regarding the above information. <br /> thanks, <br /> Donald L.
