The letter <br /> stated that a No Further Action (NFA) letter would be issued once we received <br /> confirmation from the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department that the <br /> monitoring wells at the site have been properly destroyed. In the 30 December 2008 Well <br /> Abandonment Completion Report, submitted on your behalf by Parsons, the necessary <br /> documentation of the permitted destruction of the wells was provided. Therefore, based <br /> on the information provided to date, no further action is required at this site. <br /> Nothing in this determination shall constitute or be construed as a satisfaction or release <br /> from liability for any conditions or claims arising as a result of past, current, or future <br /> operations at this location. Nothing in this determination is intended or shall be construed <br /> to limit the rights of any parties with respect to claims arising out of or relating to deposit or <br /> disposal at any other location of substances removed from the site. <br /> If existing, additional, or previously unidentified chemical constituents at the site cause or <br /> threaten to cause pollution or nuisance or are found to pose a threat to public health or <br /> water, quality, then: 1) nothing in this determination is intended or shall be construed to <br /> limit or preclude the Regional Water Board or any other agency from taking any further <br /> enforcement action, and 2) this letter does not relieve Pacific Gas and Electric of any <br /> responsibilities mandated under the California Health and Safety Code and the California <br /> Water Code. <br /> If you have questions about this letter, you may call Cori Condon at (916) 464-4619. <br /> Please note that staff oversight charges for work associated with this No Further Action <br /> California Environmental Protection Agency <br /> 0 Rec7,cled Paper <br />
