INTRODUCTION
At the request of the City of Stockton,Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc. (AGE) has prepared the
enclosed Work Plan for the site located at 6803 Alexandria Place in Stockton, California(the site).
The scope of work includes the installation of three soil borings, the completion of one boring as a
ground water monitoring well and the collection of a ground water sample. The location of the site
is depicted in Figure 1- Location 1't'lap. A plan of the site is included in Figure 2 - Site Plan.
The investigation is performed in accordance with San Joaquin County Public Health Services -
Environmental Health Division (PHS-EHD) and Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control
Board (CVRWQCB) guidelines for the investigation of underground storage (UST) sites.
2.0. BACKGROUND
2.1. SITE DESCRIPTION
The site is located on Alexandria Place in a relatively flat area of west Stockton at an elevation of
approximately 5 feet above sea level. Xylenes were detected at a concentrations
of 0.052 parts per million: ppm (reported as milligrams per kilogram). Water was not encountered
during the UST removal.
2.3. GROUND WATER DEPTH AND FLOW DIRECTION
The estimated depth to ground water at the property is approximately 15 feet below surface grade
(bsg), based on the map titled Lines of Equal Depth to Groundwater Spring 1996 published by the
San Joaquin County Flood Control District and Water Conservation District(FCD&WCD). The map
titled Lines of Equal Elevation of Groundwater Spring 1996, also published by the FCD&WCD,
shows the properties to be in an area where ground water flows toward the northeast, but this may
