(AGE)has p are <br /> enclosed work pian for the abandonment of one ground water monitoring well at 6803 ex a <br /> Place, Stockton, California (Benjamin Holt). Also enclosed are well destruction permit and the <br /> associated permit fee. Abandonment procedures will be scheduled upon approval of this work plan. <br /> The location of the site is illustrated in Figure l. The well locations are illustrated on Figure 2. <br /> INTRODUCTION/BACKGROUND <br /> One 2-inch diameter groundwater monitoring well was installed as part of subsurface investigation <br /> of the former underground storage tank (UST) area at the site. In accordance with the San Joaquin <br /> County Public Health Service -Environmental Health Division(PHS-EHD) requirements, the well <br /> must be properly abandoned to obtain final site closure. <br /> PROCEDURES 477- (l✓ S- 00 <br /> The well will be sounded to determine the total depth of the well. <br /> The well will be drilled over with an eight inch auger to remove all the original material from the <br /> soil borehole (casing stem will be removed at a minimum).
