No sign of odor or discoloration at the bottom of the <br /> excavation at 9.5 feet below surface grade (bsg). Stockpile exhibited odor and discoloration and was replaced back in the <br /> excavation. Subsequent investigation indicated minimal petroleum hydrocarbon contamination limited to 5 feet bsg and <br /> above and no impact to groundwater. Groundwater is protected.
