To obtain a copy, please contact the SWRCB at(916) 657-2390. Remedial
• Action Completion certification occurs only after PHSIEHD has determined that no further
site investigation or remedial action is required.
i
All work and reports which require geological or engineering evaluations must be performed under
the direction of an appropriately California registered or certified professional.
On February 11, 1992 a 1500 gallon gasoline underground storage tank(UST)was removed from
this site. At that time PHSIEHD staff noted that the excavation and the stockpiled soil had a
hydrocarbon odor. In addition the soil appeared discolored. The stockpiled soil was placed back
in the excavation and the soil sample from the stockpile was not analyzed. The east soil sample
collected below the UST(9 feet below grade) had low levels of xylenes evidenced. Seasonal high
depth to groundwater at this site is 10 feet below grade. Therefore, further site investigation is
required. Submit a work plan that will investigate the extent of contaminated soil and evaluate
groundwater contamination by March 1, 1998.
If you have any questions or there are any corrections in the responsible party information,
contact Jeffrey Wong at(209)468-0335.
Donna Heran, RENS, Director
Environmental Health Division
►
6reyZong, EHS, Trainee Margaret agorio, RENS
LOP/Site Mitigation Unit IV Supervisor
JW:Ib
c: SWRCB, UST Section - Lori Casias
c: RWQCS, Central Valley Region - Pat Anderson
Other Responsible Party(ies):
NONE
A Division of San Joaquin County Health Care Services
f
