SA N sJ OAQ U I N Environmental Health Department <br />-COUNTY <br />- Time In: 10:40 am <br />r. <br />Time Out: 11:17 am <br />Food Program Complaint Inspection Report <br />Name of Facility: SAFEWAY 42707 <br />Date: 09/28/2018 <br />Address: 6445 N PACIFIC AVE,STOCKTON 95207 <br />Owner/Operator: <br />Telephone: (925) 467-3000 <br />Program Element: 1600 - FOOD PROGRAM <br />Complaint #: C00047472 <br />DESCRIPTION OF COMPLAINT ALLEGATIONS <br />The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department received the following complaint: <br />PURCHASED HAMBURGER MEAT AT SAFEWAY TODAY 09/21/18, THE OUTSIDE OF THE MEAT WAS NICE AND <br />RED, BUT THE INSIDE MIDDLE PART IS GREY ( LIKE OLD HAMBURGER MEAT) PLEASE CALL COMPLAINANT. <br />VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br />Items listed on this report as violations do not meet the requirements set forth in the California Health and Safety Code commencing with section 7; <br />113700. All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR" pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and have the potential to cause foodborne illness. All major violations must be corrected immediately. Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of <br />the food facility. <br />OVERALL INSPECTION NOTES AND COMMENTS <br />FOOD ITEM -- LOCATION -- TEMP ° F -- COMMENTS <br />No Temperature Data Collected <br />NOTES <br />Informed the manager about the complaint. The manager had not received any complaints regarding meat being old. Meat is <br />received daily. The meat is stored in the walk in cooler at 32 F. The meat is ground and stored in the display case at 37 F for <br />a day. The meat is discounted after 3 pm and discarded if not sold. The meat currently being sold is not grey. The meat <br />visually appear normal. <br />The person in charge is responsible for ensuring that the above mentioned facility is in compliance with all applicable sections of the California Health and <br />Safety Code.
