Grant Line Rd., Tracy <br /> The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department (EHD) has completed the review of <br /> the application for a permit to replace the 87 and 91 primary piping with double walled flex <br /> piping, and to reinstall the 87 and 91 MLLDs on the underground storage tank (UST) system at <br /> the above noted address. The permit has been approved with the following conditions: <br /> 1. Contact the local fire department and the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control <br /> District for any applicable permits and requirements. <br /> 2. Any changes in information and scope of work must be submitted to EHD for approval <br /> prior to commencing work. All new addenda supersede the previous ones. <br /> 3. Contact Stacy Rivera at (209) 468-3440 to arrange the following inspection <br /> appointments (a 48-hour notice is required for inspection appointments). Please be <br /> aware that inspections for emergency work must be scheduled within five days of permit <br /> approval. <br /> a. Primary piping soap test: One hour pneumatic pressure test at 110% of operating <br /> pressure, or 40 psi, whichever is greater. This was completed on December 3 & 6, <br /> 2010. <br /> b. Secondary piping soap test: One hour pressure test per manufacturer's guidelines. If <br /> there are no manufacturer's guidelines, test shall be performed using an applicable <br /> method specified in an industry code or engineering standard. This was completed <br /> on December 3 & 6, 2010. <br /> c. 24-hour hydrostatic test (or equivalent) on 87 and 91 STP sumps and all UDCs. This <br /> was completed on December 6, 2010. <br /> d. Secondary containment testing on 87 and 91 piping. This was completed on <br /> December 3 & 6, 2010. <br /> e. Leak detector test: Leak detector must be tested to confirm that the device can <br /> detect a leak of 3 gallons per hour at 10 psi. <br /> Please be aware that the facility cannot operate the UST system prior to the EHD <br /> inspection and approval. <br />
