1. Use only enough absorbent to prevent oil drips from migrating to surrounding walkways <br />2. Thought out your shift, periodically inspect the saturation state of the absorbent <br />If the absorbent is saturated to the point that contained oil is likely to escape to the <br />walkway or work areas, collect the saturated absorbent and place in a labeled <br />hazardous waste drum for proper storage and disposal <br />• If the absorbent is saturated but not to the point where it is likely to escape to the <br />walkway or work areas during regularly scheduled operating hours; 10 minutes prior to <br />the end of the workday, collect the saturated absorbent and place in labeled hazardous <br />waste drum for proper storage and disposal <br />3.
