Rineco will issue a manifest correction adding the item to the hazardous waste manifest. I will forward
the corrected manifest to you and the DTSC.
Regards,
Matthew C. Why was
the oily rags/debris waste hauled off the site using a "non-hazardous waste manifest?' I attached a 2-18-10
inspection photograph which shows that the oily debris at the facility was labelled "hazardous waste." Hazardous
waste must be hauled from the site using a hazardous waste transporter using a hazardous waste manifest.
Thank you,
Garrett Backus, REHS
3/16/2010
