Kennedy, received hazardous waste management <br /> training which addressed the conversion coating process and treatment of the rinse water <br /> on July 20, 2011 by Steve Reichow of NES (Fig. 5). <br /> Mr. Kitagawa's training was last conducted in November 2008 and is no longer <br /> current. <br /> Mr. Kitagawa received hazardous waste management training on July 20, 2011 by Steve <br /> Reichow of NES (Fig. 5). <br /> The training employee training records do not include written job descriptions or a <br /> description of the training to be given to each employee. <br /> Attached are examples of the written job descriptions and a description of the training to <br /> be given to each employee (Fig. 7). Upon completion of the August 17, 2011 hazardous <br /> waste management training, the Employee Training Record will be completed for every <br /> employee. With the exception of key personnel, the majority of employees are <br /> considered hazardous waste handlers. These records will be kept in a binder in the <br /> Environmental Coordinator's office. <br /> Records of additional hazardous waste management training were not available for <br /> employees who were unable to attend the initial refresher training. At the time of <br /> inspection, documentation could not be provided to indicate that all employees had <br /> completed the annual refresher training. <br /> Our Human Resources Dept. will be using their Human Resources/Payroll/Training <br /> software program "Optimum"to record documentation of initial and refresher training in <br /> addition to our use of the Employee Training Record(Fig. 7). <br /> Job specific training was not provided for those employees responsible for <br /> additional waste handling duties, such as container and tank inspections and <br /> labeling. <br /> Job specific training will be conducted throughout the year and annually thereafter for <br /> those employees that require it.
