Tracy Chevrolet Action Plan for Return to Compliance for Hazardous Waste Handling <br /> For San Joaquin County <br /> #7, failure to determine if a waste is a hazardous waste. This in in regards to brake <br /> grindings (metal grindings). Contacted Asbury Environmental Services, obtained <br /> A container w/lid to collect these grindings, labeled accordingly. Obtained Uniform <br /> Hazardous waste manifests for tracking collection of grindings. See pictures attached <br /> #20, failure to completely label containers of hazardous waste. Obtained hazardous <br /> waste labels for use oil filters and used oil. Labeled containers appropriately with <br /> Current EPA i.d.#, start date, facility information as necessary to comply. See pictures <br /> attached. <br /> #27, failure to keep containers of hazardous waste closevexcept when adding or removing <br /> waste. Replaced 5 gallon bucket under transmission rebuild table with new bucket/lid. <br /> This bucket is emptied every night into the waste oil tank. Replaced 5 gallon bucket at <br /> parts washer with a clearly labeled bucket/lid. Installed a lid for the bucket of waste oil <br /> filters, labeled as required. See pictures attached. <br /> #83, failure to label universal waste to identify type of universal waste. Applied labels <br /> To battery collection bucket and fluorescent bulbs box with facility information, <br /> Accumulation start date. See pictures attached. <br /> #32, notice to comply with new hazardous waste tank assessment requirements. We are <br /> Currently in communication with Advanced Geoenvironmental Inc. and we look to <br /> having this completed by the end of the first week of August 2010. This Plan is <br /> posted in both the Service Dispatch Area as well as the employee break room located by <br /> the back counter of the parts dept. We are also in communication with Luis of Advanced <br /> Geoenvironmental Inc. regarding our current contingency plan for any further <br /> professional input we may need. <br /> #49, personnel training records incomplete. We are currently putting together a training <br /> program with the input Luis' input(Advanced Geoenvironmental Inc). Service Manager <br /> Signed up with the County's free training programs later this year. <br /> #84, stored universal waste on site for greater than one year. Both battery and fluorescent <br /> bulbs containers shipped away, new containers properly labeled in place. See disposal <br /> records attached. <br />
