Solids filtered from the waste water generated from the truckwash and aerosol can containing <br />product (WD -40) are thrown into the garbage without first determining its hazardous properties. Any <br />person who generates a waste shall determine if the waste is a hazardous waste. Immediately, make a <br />hazardous waste determination for the filtered solid and manage it accordingly or handle as hazardous <br />waste. Submit a statement and supporting documentation explaining how this waste will be managed <br />within 30 days of receiving this report. <br />8. This facility's EPA ID number is inactive. A hazardous waste generator shall not treat, store, dispose <br />of, transport or offer for transportation, hazardous waste without an EPA ID number. Immediately <br />'contact DTSC and reactivate your EPA ID number and submit evidence to the EHD within 30 days of <br />receiving this report. A DTSC form 1358 has been provided. <br />20, 50. 1 - 55 gallon blue poly drums and 1 -55 gallon steel black drum on the south end of the building, <br />1 - 55 gallon white poly drum half full on the west end of the building, and 1 - 5 gallon white bucket on <br />the west end of the building, containing used oil had no hazardous waste label. All hazardous waste <br />containers shall be marked with the following information: <br />1. the words "Hazardous Waste" <br />2. name and address of generator <br />3. hazardous properties <br />4. physical state <br />5. composition (contents) <br />6. accumulation start date <br />Immediately label these containers and ensure that all containers are marked with all the required <br />information. Since it cannot be determined how long these containers have been on site, immediately <br />contact a licensed hazardous waste hauler to dispose of this waste under manifest and submit a copy of <br />the manifest to the EHD within 30 days of receiving this report. [jg,t ,� � L a l_ c,v.a r am <br />23. According to the manager the drained used filters are taken away by the parts supplier. Bills of <br />lading for the recycling of used oil filters for the last three years were not found on site. A copy of each <br />bill of lading must be kept on site for at least three years. Immediately locate a copy of all bills of lading <br />for used oil filters for the last three years, maintain them on site, and submit copies to the EHD within 30 <br />days of receiving this report.
